i'm happy to say that i am enjoying my new photography hobby A LOT...

my next photo-project will be going to the infamous San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge and taking pictures such as the one above... the one above was taken with my second digital camera: Sony DSC-W1 which took a pretty damn good pic in my opinion... i'm curious as to see if my Digital Rebel can take a better pic than this... i framed it pretty nice and everything.... i am actually curious to see if i can take a better pic than that... cuz man... i dunno, it was probably dumb luck... but i really really like that picture... the day couldn't have been more perfect for that shot... i wish i had my rebel 2 years ago.... but there's so much more pictures to take around san francisco... alcatraz, twin peaks, lombard street, palace of fine arts, fisherman's wharf, and many others that i can't even think of...

that is why i want to go to san francisco as a tourist.... how many of us here that live in the bay area take views such as the one above for granted? that bridge looks magnificent and now i want to capture that picture on a sunset and nightshot as well.... look for it to be coming soon.... anyone interested in joining?

Canon Digital Rebel XT (check!)
Crumpler 4 Million Dollar Home Camera Bag (check!)
Manfrotto 785B Tripod (check! AND free!!! HAHAHA... i'll tell u more about that story later...)

the only thing that's a variable is san francisco's fog... but i guess getting a few fog in there would be nice... it will represent san francisco better than a completely clear day.... whatever God gives me, i'll take it... (just like my tripod.... BAHAHAHA)

k... i can't resist... i gotta tell the story... so i found this tripod

(manfrotto 785B) chilling on the ground on my Road to Hana tour back in hawaii.... nobody was around... and nobody was claiming it... it was left by a tourist... and it was missing the base stand for the camera... (which i bought online for like... 10 bux) and so now i have a hella awesome tripod.... i heart it a lot.... and so yeah... i grabbed it... put it in my bag... and in my head went... "SCORE!!!"
