Hawaii Day 2 Surfing

on our second day in hawaii we decided to learn how to surf... which was SUPER cool... this was while alice was getting her much needed sleep... nobody dares to try and wake up alice... we just let nature take it's course... it's not that she's cranky in the morning when she wakes up... it's the way she talks when u do disturb her sleep... it makes u feel so bad cuz u know u just tore her away from something she absolutely loves...

so here we are learning how to surf... we basically got a 20 minute crash course on how to mount, fall correctly, paddle, turn, ditch the board if we're gonna crash into someone, and how to balance ourselves...

Jen was the consistant one at standing up all the time and experienced at paddling since she's a rock climber... as for me and trev... we were sore afterwards... as u can tell from trev's expression... it's tiring yo!!!

and no... wendy thought i tried to match my surfboard with my shirt.. it was just sheer coincidence... the reason why me and trev are not shirtless was cuz we were advised to wear shirts so we don't chaffe our nipples on the boards.... nipple chaffes are the worse... it's like lighting ur nipple on fire everytime u put a shirt on or move around...

*sighs* what a fun experience... i can now say i've gone surfing before...
