Socal is good for the Soul...

what a rather.... interesting weekend i've had... definitely haven't had a weekend like this in a looooooooooooooooooooong time.... one of those weekend's that literally felt like almost 5 days worth of stuff was crammed into a friday night, saturday, and sunday.

after arriving to socal on friday, trev and i fired up the wii and played to pretty much our heart's content. in the middle of the night there was of course a munchies run to in 'n out where we hung out for a couple hours talking about senseless crap as well as taking notice that we were the only asians in all of huntington beach this weekend. the evening was pretty much all video games when alice came over. wii, mario party, and finally new super mario bros. for the nintendo DS pretty much forced alice and i to park our asses on that couch until 6am saturday morning. it wasn't until she started completely kicking my ass in the trampoline game that we both realized: "damn... we're tired... it's freaking 6!!!! who cares no work tomorrow... haha" (and yes... seriously... she was kicking my ass... don't let the cute girl facade fool you... she's a force to be reckoned with in video games... i learned that as soon as i tried playing puzzle fighter with her... and i've been playing video games all my life!!! *bow down*)

the next morning alice and i decided to knock out some christmas shopping since we had nothing better to do. southcoast plaza is huge but proved no match for our awesome efficiency and planned attack. i wish i still had our map to southcoast, maybe i'll post it up with the actual route we took through the mall, haha! i was also able to find out what my "scent category" was from a sephora pamphlet we found at the mall. according to my scent (Armani Mania as well as some others i own) i'm a "woodsy" person and i believe alice was "floral" i'm too lazy to get the pamphlet to describe what the hell does that mean and why is it important, but the scent category you choose actually says something about you. maybe i'll post it up one day.

after southcoast plaza it was pretty much chill back at the house until it was time for... dun dun dun... nightlife in socal.

despite the rain, we were still all able to meet up at hooters at 7:30pm for kate's birthday celebration.

drink of choice? Stella Beer. our waitress seemed kinda buzzed but a very cheerful person who was always getting our attention with her. . . . . . . . . . . . bubbly personality. =P which is true (well maybe half truth).

then it was off to the club! the leader we were following was anthony, tho the way he went in order to get there seemed like he was taking us to mexico. fortunately for my car, alice, trev, and i all took espanol in highschool. unfortunately for my car, all we could say was "hello my name is..." and the few spanish quotes from Bedazzled: "hola juan, hola esteban, adonde esta la biblioteca" "un momento... se hablo espanol..." "mucho gusto!!!!" and lastly... "mierde..." oh and we couldn't figure out how to say friday in spanish either...

once we got to the club i remembered why i missed socal so much...
