Final Fantasy Tactics is the latest game in Square Enix's back catalogue to get the PSP treatment. Much like Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War will be an enhanced port of the classic PlayStation game. Extras include cartoon-like movies depicting the story, and some new jobs, starting with the series' famous Onion Knight. The game will also be displayed in glorious 16:9 widescreen.
The Lion War is being developed as part of the "Ivalice Alliance," which already includes the recently announced DS game Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. In addition to these, Square Enix has announced a third game in development, Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Sealed Grimoire. The platform for this one has not been announced yet, but could potentially be a sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, on either GBA or DS.
Right now, there's no release date for any of these games, but we'll be sure to bring you further info when it is revealed.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! one of my most FAVORITE games is coming to PSP and possibly the Nintendo DS as well!!!!!!!!!!!! they are also making an FF 12 spinoff for the nitendo DS which isn't so cool for me since i haven't played 12 yet... but the fact that Final Fantasy Tactics is coming to both PSP AND possibly Nintendo DS....

i'm pretty sure many of you don't care... but i've probably devotes countless number of hours of my life to this game... and they are re-updating it for the PSP.... i haven't played my PSP in a long ass time and i have yet to update it since the first firmware... but if squresoft (i don't call them square enix... but unless ur a video game nerd like me, u wouldn't really know/care as to why...) i will sooooooooooooooooooo update legit for this game.... THIS GAME ALONE!!!!
finally... there's a reason to press the on switch for my psp... cuz seriously... it's been sucking a lot lately...
ps. agrias is a female holy knight that's gotta be so badass in the game... she's in the hall of fame for squaresoft females along up there with Rosa, Celes, Beatrix, and Aeris
it's not a Sony PSP to me... it's a Squresoft Final Fantasy Tactics on-the-go machine for me.... i would buy it for this one game and never take it out...
and then they are possibly bringing another installment to the acclaimed Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced for the GBA to the Nintendo DS.... i'm sorry... i'm so giddy... i love these games... so intricate... OMFG
