anyhow, as i was saying... as i was delving into some news, a sudden wave of nostalgia hit me... some old school games that brought back this feeling of filling an empty void of boredom at some point in my life... i'm talking PC games.... now predominatnly i've been a console gamer, but from time to time, i've been known to engross myself on a pc game.... which games were those? well lets see:
Oregon Trail
"Mary has died of Dysentary" wtf is that?!?! and how come when i kill a bull and it weighs 700lbs of meat... and i can only carry lets say... 200lbs of meat... that my trailers don't sit there and eat till they are full and THEN leave?!?!?! WHY WHY WHY!!!!!!!!!!! that ALWAYS pisses me off... damn wasters... no wonder the native americans hated us... i always knew that indian that helped me cross the river was really out to get me... my shit always broke and flowed down the river... =(
Number Munchers
every asian should be GREAT at this game... hahahaha... this game single handedly taught me prime numbers... i didn't get it until i played this game...
Sim City
ah.. this game was classic... it was always my goal to build a glorius city... one for the ages... and have it demolished by 2 or 3 monsters... fires... riots... and crime.... MUAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA...

Sim City 2000
oh sim city 2000.... you were the greatest of the series... EVER.... the cheat code... the wonderful graphics... the monotonous music that for some reason can STILL be played in my head... all the wonderful sounds... like when i raised taxes and everyone boo's... or when i lower taxes and everyone cheers... to the sound of blowing up a building... to mowing down forest... to just the background music which u can ask me and i'll hum it for you...
i LOVE this game... i miss this game... i am pretty sure every computer i own can handle this game... i think i will re-install it... cuz this game... was GREAT.... i would play this game EVERYWHERE i went... even at stores when they had it for free i would play it there... i think i recall there being a store in valley fair that had computers and it had sim city and while my mom shopped, i'd be sitting there playing this game...
(it was always a little fantasy of mine to live in my own sim city... or at least walk around in it... which is why when they came out with sim copter i thought it was the coolest idea ever.... but i never bought/played it...)
The Sims
my brother and i perfected the game by building a pseudo family that was full of so many different personalities elsewhere in the neighborhood so when we played on our real family, they would randomly come by and we'd build relationships w/ them.... we always had a character that ws the ultimate Douche... we named him TooCool... it was a guy w/ pajama pants, no shirt, sunglasses... and blonde hair... hahaha...
my brother still holds the best game ever... his sim had NO job... what was his job? to juggle two relationships.... his main character was a girl... and he had it so well... he had the uptstiars reserved for a relationship w/ one a guy.. a kitchen was up there and everything... and then he had the downstairs with a relationship w/ the girl.... each of whm had a job and brought back income... and all his main character did was juggle the two... one went to work at night, the other went to work at day.. and his character slept in the 3 hours between each of them and lived off coffee and energy drinks...
*sighs* i want to install this game too....
