Seattle Trip 2010

alright... the TOP of half of my original post got deleted... WHAT THE HELL!!!! o well... i'll just make a quick intro to our awesome seattle trip... turns out, that denn and carolyn were going to seattle for the weekend and so me and lena decided to tag along as well... after a long week of working (this time i didn't have to work on the plane like my DC trip) we land after a few delays and i take a picture of the FIRST starbucks i see... oddly enough, we never drank starbucks the whole weekend we were there... "when in rome..."



and took a few funny pictures at a kid's playground where we found a plane that looked a lot like a virgin america plane





me and lena have this tradition of betting on what color our rental car was going to be... this city... she won



Adj = 1, Lena = 1 the eternal battle goes on forever

first stop the next morning was to eat FOOOOOD

luckily there was a mobile chowdown going on at SafeCo field where food trucks from seattle and portland come together for everyone to showcase their food...



we had these korean tacos... who would have known that korean and mexican can fuse together to such good food!!!

and i ate one of the best crepes i've ever had in my life



then went to pikes place to see what the fuss is all about.. found a caveman statue and of course, denn and i couldn't resist

and we found this ugly ass monk fish that was tied to a string, so when people came up to take a picture of it, the worker would pull on the string and startled everyone thinking it was still alive... haha, i was waiting to see if anyone would drop their cameras

me and denn found a forrilz legend of zelda ocarina at the marketplace!!!



and they also have pretty flowers there



at night for dinner me and lena went to go eat sushi... but as we were waiting for our table we stoppped by a nearby bar for a few drinks since they were serving Peroni beer... then we met what we "thought" was the mayor but can't say for sure that he is or was...

last day in seattle so we HAVE to stop by the space needle... how can we NOT stop by the space needle in seattle right?

the music experience building is also very pretty

inside the music experience building they had this huge concert halls with pretty purple somethings on the ceiling... they were throbbing and reminded me of purple jellyfish




while we were shopping, me and lena found these awesome sunglasses that pretty much sums up how she feels about me...

then we started to get a little creative and started pretending like we were ninja's



note to everyone... lena has horrible timing



but after a few (many exhausting) tries... we finally got one to come out...



last stop was to eat at IVARS for some yummy fish and chips
