if you saw the episode last night then i just want to say HA to everyone who gave me shit about comparing glee to high school musical...
lets see... basketball team?
o yeah... and who used the "they only sing on stage and not senselessly around normal situations where nobody can see them singing"

There is a huge difference between glee and High school musical man!
Just cause there's a basketball team dun mean they're the same yo, its high school backdrop!

umm... no, not the same.
The signing on glee is always in a reference to the the glee club. They practice for a mash up that they do in glee, they practice a song about an earlier class in glee, etc etc.
The reasons why they sing are essentially different. The characters in glee are embarrassed they're in glee, almost afraid let loose (thats why its nice to see them sing) but the characters in high school musical, well, they sing about it it being summer time.
High school musical = Disney Movie/Broadway Musical
Glee = Teenage angst with music a engine to deal with issues.
At least thats how i see it. To each their own.
