Deception Point

I just finished my book that I started last Saturday and WOW!!!! What a very poignant and thrilling novel this was. Maybe it was accentuated because I was reading on my eReader, but this book was the kind I couldn't put down. I haven't felt this good about finishing a book since I finished Angels & Demons and yet this book took those other books above and beyond.

Lately I've been reading a lot of reglious books that revolve around topics such as Templar history, Genesis, and whatnot but what truly intrigues me is the fascination of science-fiction that teeter on the brink of fact and fiction that although it is far-fetched, is actually quite conceivable. And that's what Deception Point brings to the table... everything i've been fascinated about as a child.... Space, Ocean exploring, the arctic circle, corrupt governments, and a pinch of X-files thrown in there.

If anyone has free time to read a book i strongly implore you to pick up Deception Point.

As I finished the book this morning, the sudden wave of completion washed up on me and like finished a very long movie, the credits would roll inside my head. I don't know if this is what everyone else does, but as I read a book, i tend to picture certain people as the characters in the book, as if it were a movie playing out right before me. The faces are familiar (being celebrities) and I just wanted to share what popped in my head when I read each character in this book:
