What Goes Around Comes Around

the timeless adage: Karma's a bitch ain't it?

Baron Davis was traded from the LA Clippers to the leage's worst team: Cleveland Caveliers

why is this relevent to me? well... its a few degree's of separation away, but i do keep a close eye on every UCLA player that's still playing in the NBA today (gooooo westbrook, collison and love!!) so this naturally caught my eye sifting through my usual news feed.

so the next question is... why the title? well for those of you that live in the bay area know this story only all too well. baron davis played for the warriors where he not only made the warriors relevant to the rest of the nba... but the warriors made him relevant as well.

Baron Davis brought the warriors to the playoffs for the first time in a verrrrrrry long time... sparking the T-shirts, posters, banners, billboards with big bold letters: We Believe!

Convincingly beating the mavs and losing to the jazz... then came back to the playoffs again the following year only to lose to the suns...

so what did Baron Davis end up doing? selling out the warriors and taking the huge contract with the clips. and now, he has been banished to the black-hole of the NBA.

please understand, i am in no way a warriors fan. i was cheering for them becuase it was great to see the bay area excited for basketball for once. rarely happens when you have the Giants / A's / and the Niners, all of which have been champions in their own respective sports. But i do feel for them. I like it when a UCLA player played for the warriors, Matt Barnes, Baron Davis, Dan Gadzuric but am i a fan? nope.... i buy warriors tickets when Kobe is in town and that's about it...

and although i love all the UCLA players, what b-diddy did to the franchise was wrong. its always for the money. it's that greed that i hate when it comes to professional sports. it is why i'm so disgusted with the NFL / NFLPA fighting over a CBA. when greed rears its ugly head in sports, its only the fans that get the short end of the stick.

so... all i have to say is..... karma's a bitch ain't it?!?!
