Team Prestige

so... if many of you don't know.... i spent the better half of my weekend (actually more like 80% of my weekend) playing call of duty: black ops. I've discovered a couple cool new game modes (gun game) and zombies are still always a great thing to fall back on. but last friday, through another 6 or 7 hour session with the guys we went 26-0... that's right... 26 straight wins... with whatever xbox-live had to offer us and we still knocked them all down with just about everyone on our team of 6 averaging over 1.0 K/D ratio. In my book that's pretty damn good to have everyone having a good game.

and i realized something towards the end of the night when i saw our names on the server list. we all hit level 50.... all 6 of us were sitting there owning everyone left and right and it got to a point where we didn't really have to try anymore (decoy + jammer = AWESOME)

so this really insane thought popped into my head. i told the guys that the next time all 6 of us log on together as a team, that we all prestige AT THE SAME TIME.

now for those of you who don't know what prestiging is in call of duty, what it basically does in the multiplayer game is you reset your account back to level 1. you lose all your money, all your weapons, perks, everything.... the only thing that carries over is your customizable icon, your clan tag, and you get an upgraded medal to signify that you've prestiged.

basically it's voluntarily kicking yourself in the balls

and last night.... after teetering with only 5 peeps on xbox live... our 6th man signed on aaaanannnnnd.....

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

everyone being at level 1 and now everything is a challenge... we have to kill someone and steal their gun and go around and kill them again with their own guns!!! plus its satisfying to know that we just beat someone that is vastly higher level than we are and all we got are the first guns you start out with in the game MUAHAHAHAHAHA

this game is awesome

i never wanted to prestige until this game.... this game actually doesn't make it all that bad
