Love at First Sight

this was the very first moment lena and I were allowed to see Ella Banana at the shelter

we were already head over heels for her from her one picture but meeting her in person it was like OMG OMG OMG please let us have her!!!!!

when lena showed me ella's picture while I was in a meeting at work, I made the decision to try and adopt her. left early for lunch, picked up lena and drove as fast as we could to the shelter. Once we got there we found out that adopting isn't open until 12pm (we got there at 12:05pm) so we were in luck... grabbed a number immediately and waited... asked a worker if we could find ella and she took us to the Paws Inn room where we met ella for the first time.... after waiting in line for an hour and each time scared that someone would adopt her before we do, we were finally called and immediately asked to adopt ella and next thing you know.... she's riding home in our arms
