i pull into the garage, i get out of my car and think about what is awaiting for me behind the garage door... i see the light on from the crack underneath the door and immediately know...
i close the garage to make sure its safe to come in and when i do, i see my girlfriend wearing her apron at the stove making finishing up dinner for tonight... my puppy on the other side of the door waiting patiently for me to come in... as the door swings wider and wider i notice her tail wags harder and faster...
as soon as i step through the door i smell the delicious food that we're about to eat but before i can figure out what it is, ella banana runs straight for me and begs for me to greet her... bombarding me with doggy kisses on my hand.... before i can already put my bag down she's already anxious to play... i give my girlfriend a kiss... i see the table is already set and we enjoy a wonderful dinner together... in the middle of dinner my girlfriend asks me.... "beer?" to which i respond with a resounding yes... all while ella sits at our feet watching her mom and dad enjoy a peaceful dinner together...
we end the meal with me doing the dishes and ella onto her dinner or playing with her mom... and once i'm finished turn on the tv to watch what's on TV with a hot cup of coffee to get me through the night....
i love these two =)
