Halloween Fail

Ah yes, october.  The month of halloween and a time where I usually don't have any plans yet always wish I had plans and the drive to execute one of the many costume idea's i have had in the past and have always failed to execute.  Call it laziness.  Call it lack of execution.  Or maybe just the introvert nature of myself of not wanting to cause too much of a scene.

I want to just take this time to list down my top 3 costumes that I have always wanted to execute but could never get myself to do:

1.  Tron

I mean, how is this NOT the best idea for a halloween costume ever?  it's dark, it lights up, it catches the eye, and I would appreciate anyone who is a fan of the series.  of course, i would much rather meet a female who dressed up as quorra because the nerd points sky rocket but i think anybody, girl or guy, who dresses up in Tron costumes gets ultimate cool points in my book.

2. Michael Jackson - Thriller

MJ's thriller outfit is probably the most iconic at the height of his career.  There has yet to be a halloween party that I have attended where Thriller WASN'T played.  of course it also helps that I know the entire routine to Thriller (thanks to the filipino prisoners for inspiring me.  if they could do it, so can i!)

3.  Jedi

this should be the easiest.  I already own the hardest prop for this which is my light saber.  the clothes aren't tight, and it's warm enough that even in the coldest time in october is still okay to sport this costume.  in all the years i've loved star wars, i have never dressed up as a jedi.   for shame, right?



maybe this year is the year i can break the curse.  but i highly doubt i can ever pull off any of my costume ideas.
