Surrender???

Something was brought to my attention today and it lead me to try and do a little detective work through pictures.

I read in a comment that the Detroit Tiger's rally rags were white.... almost metaphorical for a white flag for surrender and well know what happened next... the Giants beat them to clinch the championship.... and then i thought to myself.... what about the NLCS and NLDS?!?!?!?
