the next thing i want to build

this morning while i was showering, i always turn on the radio just to get a cheerful start to my day and i came to the realization that i sing in the shower almost every morning.  because of this i have now rediscovered the desire to get a karaoke system for my home.  for who?  nobody other than myself.  i don't throw parties, and i hardly have friends over to do this kind of thing.  it's really just for myself and to fulfill my inner desire to become a pop-star within the confines of my home with only my roomate and my neighbors to suffer the sound of my voice....

so i'm looking into getting the same systems they have in all those ktv bars around town because i don't want to settle for a simple magic mic that many of my friends have.  why the ktv systems?  i like being able to hear the original tracks of songs that i'm singing and not just a synthesized tones to try and pretend like it was the original song.  i like the original song tracks that come with many of the higher end karaoke systems and that's what i'm looking into getting soon:



yet another thing to add to my increasing entertainment system and living room.  i have found that i spend pretty much most of my time at home in my living room so why not beef it up to my likings.
