WHAT A GAME!!!!!

my mom and dad had a BLAST at Game 1 of the 2012 World Series.  This was their first Giants game that they saw live at AT&T park where they won and Tony Bennett singing over the speakers at the end of the game!!!!



What an amazing game to go to.  Barry Zito, the forgotten best pitcher from a decade ago against Justin Verlander, the "best pitcher on the planet" as so many TV announcers and media pundits call him.  And what happened?  Pablo Sandoval smacks 3 home runs and the giants beat Justin Verlander and the Detroit Tigers into submission sending a BOLD statement that the entire nation was wrong to favor the Tigers with Verlander pitching as the large favorites over the red hot Giants coming off a tiring game 7 against the Cardinals.

we drove over to Union Square to watch the game from a Lefty O'doul's cocktail bar and grill where my favorite radio station:  95.7 The Game's Rise Guys Dan Dibly and Whitey Gleason were hosting a viewing party.  I thought it was super  cool meeting the guys i listen to every morning to hear them talk about 49ers, Giants, A's, and all other sports.... they truly have my dream job:

I am so glad my mom and dad called last night a truly priceless and unforgettable moment.  brought a warm smile to my face at the end of the day......  they deserve a moment like that =)
