Holy Crap that was bad

last night i decided to watch Battleship cuz my list of movies i want to watch on XBMC has dried up that bad...



And WOW what a crappy movie!!!!  so bad i couldn't even get past the first 30 minutes of the movie... the mane actor (who i actually like from Friday Night Lights) offers up the most unacted 30 minutes i've seen in a long time.  he never changes his facial reaction, his attitude, just showed no range whatsoever.  Adding Liam Neeson to the cast was purely just to draw in ticket sales and fool moviegoers into thinking that you will be treated to a well-acted film.  then you move down the cast more and you see Rihanna in the movie............. let me repeat that again...... Rihanna.....  note to self.... when a pop/rnb star wants to star in a movie stay the HELL away from it.  the only exception these days is Justin Timberlake.

it had every predictability set up in the first 30 minutes.... i could almost predict how everything is going to go down:

• Main Character will be the sole reason they win the battle
• Not before going face-to-face with the true enemy that nobody else is able to see, maybe even communicate with said enemy... maybe even enemy somehow learns english and says either "DIE" or "FUCK YOU" only before the main character goes into a rage and stabs the main enemy then slow motion pose to wait for the audience to "slow clap" his magnificent feat......
• Main Character's noble and better respected brother dies forcing Main Character to grow up and assume the role as the leader
• Liam Neeson may also die, but most likely his life will be saved by the Main Character who then before he rushes off to finish off the enemy gives his approval finally for him to marry his daughter
• BONUS:  Best Friend and Rihanna get together and forced her to shed her "badass" attitude and shows some compassion

i should work in holywoood

i challenge anyone out there to get further than me.... 30 minutes before u realize that you are going to absolutely waste 130 minutes of your life.   How bad was it for me?  I watch good movies more than once and i feel like that's time well spent for me, to others, it's wasted time.... and i wouldn't even devote 100 more minutes of my time to this crap..... THAT'S how bad this was....

it had every making of The Legend of Chun Li, Dragonball, and Dragon Wars: DWAR *shudders*
