Boarding onto my flight out of LAX to San Jose. Two bachelor parties and a lot of drinking later I just witnessed a mom and her son parting ways at the airport. One heading to one city and the other somewhere else. Several long hugs and many words of "I love you" and "I will miss you".
As the son boards his flight behind me she yells down the jet bridge that she is so happy and proud for her son. Waiting to step onto the plane he is sniffling and I can already tell he misses his mom. I turn back and say "it sounds like u have an amazing mom" and he kindly agrees in reply....
I miss my mom now too =)
