UGH i feel like death ran over twice and shat on by a bird
seriously.... that picture above, there was just a 5 hour difference from when i took that picture at Kettleman City while still dressed in my wedding clothes to the next picture where i am dressed and ready to attend my 9am meeting this morning.
the drive wasn't all that bad. i won't reveal how fast i was going, but i got back at a reasonable time and in fact made a few on-the-road friends. me and this white mustang pretty much tore highway 5 apart and left a wake of head-shaking and disgruntled truckers and swerving family vans and suv's along the way.
i was a little sad when the mustang had to call it quits and hit up a rest-stop 30 miles from hitting 152 last night. it's funny how u see the same cars during long car trips. we actually first met eachother on the grapevine and then didn't see eachother again until after i hit kettleman city to get some gas and relieve myself. i didn't buy my traditional lottery ticket so no chance to become a millionaire there.
outside of making highway buddies what usually keeps me awake is music. for those that don't know me, when i'm alone in my car or if i am completely comfortable around you, you will most likely catch me singing and making up some kind of "sitting in car with seatbelt on dance choreography". after last weekend when my car got broken into and my shitty ipod mini was stolen (seriously... you steal THAT?!?!? it's like worth $20) i pretty much lost all my current music that i had. so after digging through my closets before i left for SoCal i shored up some kind of Ipod Nano that i had somewhere and plugged that into my car.
The music was pretty much circa 2008 but since i'm a little old-fashioned like that i thought to myself AWESOME... i KNOW all this music!!!
anyhow, to make a long story short... there was one song that came up that instantly got me singing and maybe bobbing just a bit too much in my car. thank god it was the middle of the night so nobody can see shit into my car:
not the best choreo but it had good sound quality
