Marketing Success

i wouldn't claim Corona to be my favorite beer but for some reason it has associated itself inside my head with relaxation.  call it an absolute marketing win for Corona for constantly and endlessly showing us commercials of their beer along with a beach and just the relaxing vibe it oozes.

does this happen with anyone else?

for some reason i look back and think of all my relaxing or fun moments and chances are i have a corona in my hand:



it's just a beer that is just light enough to not give you any sour taste, and yet strong enough to relax and enjoy whatever moment you're currently engrossing yourself in.  it just symbolizes summertime, beaches, relaxation, care-free, and you can't help but smile to any of those things.

tho a part of me questions if this is a "Pavlov's Dog" reaction that I am experiencing.  it most likely is since i like to relate a lot things to psychology but i think i've had enough good experiences while drinking a corona that everytime i drink out of it, it takes me back to that time and it instantly makes my current situation and my palate just that much more enjoyable.

so lesson?  when u'r have a shitty time.... go find a corona and instantly make that shitty situation into a bit more enjoyable situation.... i'll try that out next time i find myself in one, tho a part of me is afraid of tainting the corona into reminding me of crappy times in my life.... hrmmm.....
