brainwave invasion

so an interesting thing happened today... i guess i should start the story off with how things started earlier this week...

in one of the many conversations between alice and i:

Alice: oh hey
i need to give you something
me: hrm?
Alice: you free this wknd ?
me: saturday night or sunday
good
cuz i need to give YOU somethign too
Alice: hahaah. no you don't
let's meet up sunday
me: man, now u got me wondering what it could be
haha
Alice: a sock
hahhaha
me: i'm thinking a ginormous cup of green tea latte
or a lump of coal
i was gonna ask u to meet up this weekend too
great minds think alike
Alice: i was sending you brainwaves
:P
me: if u can... can u send me the winning lottery numbers too
that'd be great
Alice: likewise

brainwave invasion? if she can... then so can i....

for maybe a couple months now, alice and i have been obsessing about finding the cube world toys that i blogged about earlier.... if you don't remember what they were... you can read up on them here and here

so anyhow... i found them on sale somewhere that i shall not mention... (i keep my sources condifendtial.. and no.. they weren't stolen)... interestingly enough alice and i did try and search for the cube world toys at the nearby walmart. to our dismay, sadly, the only one we found was an empty box that was hung up where all the cube world's used to be... (yeah, the thief was kind enough to hang the box back up so as to not make a mess... irony... sheer irony...)

instead of telling alice about them being on sale, i decided to surprise her instead... just so i could see the alice's patented surprised look... imagine if we were in a comic book, right above her head would be words in big red bold letters: "WOAH!!!" yeah... kinda like that...

now the irony to the whole story was that as they got shipped to me last week (having bought a set for myself as well) and before i could ask her if we could hang out this weekend so i could give to her... she instead im's me and says she has something to give me... what was it you ask?

tadaa!!!!!!


series 3 of cube world!!! the ones i got for her and myself were series 2 (on the left and right side)... needless to say... her and i both had a "WOAH!!!" look on our faces when we both surprised eachother with the same-but-not item...

brainwaves, you ask? possibly... haha...
