sux that i have to do this.... but it would make bring a little bit more peace to my mind when i'm away from home.... i've never had to do this in the past but i feel like now it may be a necessity.... honestly tho, the best security systems i've ever had were always people. my roomate my first year in the dorms was a complete hermit and i could always count on him being home watching over our stuff. it was after all the dorms so not like i had much to worry about but it was my first time living on my own so it was quite scary at first.... the second time was my gf at the time who worked so little and was always home... always nice to have an extra pair of eyes but i guess now it's time to go the camera route for the peace of mind
on a related topic.... here's an interesting iAMA on Reddit i read a long time ago.... allows you to step inside the mind of a burglar; albeit, a savvy one at least... most of the burglars today aren't adept enough to use a computer let alone how to host an AMA on reddit... but still interesting to say the least to see what goes through their minds to allow them to mentally think it's okay to do what they do....
